For as long as I can remember my mother has been a homemaker extraordinaire. She makes these really great handmade quilts that everyone just loves. She used to make them for all the neighborhood kids, but then she got so many requests that she started to charge for them. She puts a great amount of effort in each one and they’re all unique, which makes everybody feel special. She’s even started to create a variety of unique quilt sets, which are stunningly beautiful.

When my sister came to visit the other day she told my mom that she had lost the last one that she made her. As soon as my mom heard that she almost fainted, because this particular one had been made over 20 years ago. My sister had been trying to put off admitting this to her, but she finally mustered up the courage and told her. They had a long talk about it then my mom told her that she would make her an even better one than before. She said she was going to even make her two queen size quilts, which my sister said she was totally happy to hear. Then we all went out to dinner and had a great time.
